Took a plane ride, read the seat-pocket catalog out of deafening boredom, found another entry for our collection of unnecessary items:
There is nothing at all wrong with clear zipper bags. They function just fine. These ShowOffs bags are definitely cute, and if you want that cuteness badly enough to pay extra and to wash them instead of recycling after the trip, by all means, have and enjoy. What bothers me about this is the description: “Time to face it: those sandwich bags … aren’t up to the task.” Yes they are.
Want? Fine. Need? No. Quit confusing aesthetics with function.
